Last moth I had the pleasure of photographing a family who I really love and respect. The oldest son was about to leave to go on a mission so mom wanted family portraits done. We decided to meet at a local park. It was very bright outside, so I found an area under some shaded trees and we started the session.
I like to give prompts during my sessions, which are sometimes silly suggestions to get my families laughing and playing together. Here I told them to link arms and bump hips while they walked towards me.
It wasn't long before the boys started cutting up. They had me laughing so hard the whole session. This family sure knows how to have fun! They even stopped for a quick selfie.
Of course we had to get some of just mom & dad. You can really see the love they have for each other!
We got several different shots of all the children, and the children with their parents. My favorite was the oldest hugging his parents.
I was so happy to be able to take their family portraits! (There are many more not posted here)
Hope you enjoyed these as much as I did!
